TYPES OF BANQUET SET UP

 The different types of banquet style setups are:

1- Classroom style setup:-

• The classroom setup is great for orientation and any other presentation when guest will need to be writing or eating while observing.
•  Classroom style is ideal for teaching ,events ,testing or other meeting where participants will be writing.

  

2- Theater style/Auditorium Setup:-

• Theater style is ideal for lectures, presentations, and group meetings of any size.
• It consists of chairs in rows facing a panel table or podium at the front of the room.

3- Standing Cocktail/ Cocktail Setup:-

• This is one of the arrangement that more the best use of the floor space where the guest are free to room around without only restrictions.
• Whether having food out on stations for get to nibble at their own or having servers pass appetizers while they mingle over cocktail. 

4- Hollow square setup:-

• Setup: Tables in square shape w/ chairs on outside.
• Best for: Events where focal point is in the center and/or interaction between participants is encouraged.

5- Fish bone / Herringbone setup:-

• The fish bone layout is to arrange the table of the conference room in order according to to the shape of fish skeleton .
• Leave a space between  the tables to make the overall pattern appear a fish bone shape .

6- U-SHAPE Style:-

• Similar to conference room style, a U-shape setup will help facilitate discussion with participants facing each other, but with one end up, U-shape setup is ideal for seminars and group meetings with presentations.

7- T-SHAPE Style:-

• The layout of the table are arranged in T-shape.
• This setup are recommend for business purpose meeting.

8- Boardroom Style setup:-

•  Boardroom style use for formal meeting, the standard is using two Oblong tables and use two half-moon tables at the edge.

• The meaning of round edge is the meeting participant are under one organization, the head of organization can be place at the round edge.

9-  Round table setup:-

• It's a suitable for workshop seminar that need discussion and interaction among the speaker and participant.
• A Banquet round table used at a banquet meal. These table typically used by most wedding venues.

10-  Banquet Buffet  setup:-

• Each hotel/outlet category has a number of buffet set-ups to choose from according to the budget and selection of dishes.  The buffet service shall be similar to that applied in the restaurant procedure.
